A flow of textiles acts as an invitation to touch the fabrics and listen to naiads, the water spirits of Tammerkoski. How do we interact with and care for the bodies of water around us?

Naiad is an interactive sound installation inspired by the history of Tampere and the city’s unique relationship to the Tammerkoski rapid.

Naiad was part of Tampere Biennale 2024, made in collaboration with Uniarts Helsinki. This is the second piece created as part of hypersea duo by Juuli Haverinen and Esther Calderon M.
